SUMMARY

As a Content Marketing Specialist within the Marketing and Internal Operations teams, you will have an opportunity to directly contribute to our purpose by helping to communicate Sendero’s work and culture to our communities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and apply basic knowledge of Marketing theory, industry, and professional standards to work methods and deliverables to achieve goals
  • Provide internal training and guidance, answer questions, and support others in building brand consistency through the right usage of media, logos, channels, and content
  • Draft, edit, review, and gain approval for content (e.g., social media content, emails, website content, press releases, etc.)
  • Create and design a wide range of print and digital collateral, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
  • Support public relations activities by helping schedule and prepare executives for interviews; contribute to executive reporting and tracking of PR activities
  • Assist with partnership marketing initiatives by collaborating with internal teams and external partner marketers to develop shared campaigns and deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of content under the guidance of the Content Manager, maintaining professionalism and executive presence when interacting with senior leaders as needed
  • Become cross-trained across team roles and responsibilities to provide flexible support for both marketing and business development operations as business needs evolve
  • Participate in (e.g., note taking, providing input) and sometimes facilitate small groups and/or meetings to address issues and gather data
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Participation over time in two or more extracurricular activities
  • Leadership roles (academic, work, or extra-curricular)
  • Work experience that may include full or part-time work (paid or volunteer), full-time work during summers, and/or volunteer work
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience across various social media platforms
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite (Preferred: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite)
  • Strong business writing and verbal information-sharing abilities
  • Basic presentation and meeting facilitation abilities
