As a Business Development Operations Specialist, you will support the growth of our consulting business by maintaining critical BD systems, coordinating proposal responses, and enabling successful external engagement activities. This role sits within the BD and Marketing function within the Business Development Operations team and is an internal, non-client-facing position. You will collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure our BD efforts are organized, efficient, and consistently supported.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end RFP development for consulting projects, including timelines, SME coordination, content assembly, templates, quality checks, and portal submissions.
  • Manage and refresh the proposal content library, including bios, case studies, templates, and standard language.
  • Create or refine layouts, designs, and visuals for RFP responses and supporting materials.
  • Support external BD events such as conferences and networking functions by coordinating logistics, vendor management, materials, registrations, and post‑event lead capture into Salesforce.
  • Partner with Marketing on event activation activities, materials, communications, and on‑site needs.
  • Contribute to business development operations by documenting processes, supporting internal coordination, and maintaining BD knowledge capital.
  • Provide coordination support across internal teams, particularly Marketing, to ensure alignment and accuracy of BD resources.
  • Assist with special projects related to BD systems, tools, content updates, or process improvements as assigned.
  • Maintain and administer Salesforce, including data hygiene, record accuracy, reporting, dashboard upkeep, and user support.
  • Support business development operations through maintaining tools, templates, processes, and content resources.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Participation over time in two or more extracurricular activities
  • Leadership roles (academic, work, or extra-curricular)
  • Work experience that may include full or part-time work (paid or volunteer), full-time work during summers, and/or volunteer work
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office product suite
  • Strong business writing and verbal information-sharing abilities
  • Basic presentation and meeting facilitation abilities
  • Excellent critical thinking and logical processing skills
